Practice for Rheumatology and Immunology
The focus of the practice is on early and differential diagnostics as well as the therapy of inflammatory rheumatic diseases. The main focus is on arthritides (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthritis e.g. Bechterew's disease), collagenoses (such as lupus erythematosus, myositis, Sjögren's syndrome) and vasculitides (such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis, eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, microscopic polyangiitis, giant cell arteritis, skin vasculitis).
DIAGNOSTIC
ECG, lung function test, ultrasound of abdominal organs, ultrasound of joints (early erosions), thyroid gland, rheumatism SCAN of the hands, ultrasound of vessels, capillaroscopy, rheumatism SCAN of the hands, laboratory diagnostics including general and special diagnostics as well as prognosis parameters, interdisciplinary consultations with other specialists (e.g. dermatology, pediatrics, orthopedics, radiology, pulmonology, coagulation experts). On-site X-ray, MRT, CT, PET-CT, angiographies and bone density measurement (DXA)
THERAPY
Orientation towards national and international guidelines or recommendations, initiation and control of standard therapies, therapies of refractory / therapy-resistant patients, therapies with biologicals (such as Etanercept, Certolizumab, Infliximab, Adalimumab, Abatacept, Golimumab, Rituximab, Tocilizumab), day clinic with infusion stations (for e.g. cyclophosphamide, Belimumab and other biologicals), clinical therapy studies
