The study centre conducts several studies for different rheumatological diseases. These studies are either novel diagnostic procedures or new therapies or therapeutic strategies. Most of the studies are carried out in cooperation with the Universities of Hamburg (UKE), Berlin (Charité) and Hanover (MHH) or the Project Group Translational Medicine and Pharmacology Fraunhofer IME. RheumaDATA is an "Investigator Initiated Register" established and funded by leading rheumatologists in Germany.

The results of these studies are regularly scientifically published and presented at congresses.

Before participating in one of the studies, the patients concerned are informed in detail and must give their written consent
